Water Outage & Boil Advisory
May 07, 2024
Boil Advisory For
2350 – 2395 Wilbur Rd
5/7/2024 through 5/9/2024
There is a temporary interruption in service for all homes from
2350-2395 Wilbur Rd. on Tuesday, May 7th.
When the water is restored, we recommend that you boil the water for at least 5 minutes prior to using it for brushing teeth, preparing food, or drinking. This boil advisory will be in effect until 4:00 pm, May 9, 2024
If the water appears "milky" in color when it is restored, it may be necessary to let a faucet run for a few minutes to clear the air from the lines. MCRW will be acquiring bacteriological sampling over the next few days and additional chlorine will be used to disinfect the lines.
MCRW will be flushing the main lines until sample verification is complete. If the boil advisory is lifted early or extended, there will be additional notification at MCRW.org
It is not necessary to boil the water for pets, livestock, clothes washing, and bathing.
Please contact the office with questions or concerns.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Sincerely,
Morgan County Rural Water Corporation
